Just picked a new ride for the wife yesterday. I guess we're good for 60 days until we need plates.

I find that renewing my plates online to be fun and easy. They will still take my money even though I don't need an emissions this year for my 30 yo mustang. And my bike is exempt. I do find it very rapey that I am still charged 2 times on my registration break down for emissions for my mustang and bike even though both are not needed or required this year. POS MOFO'S. Evil ghoulish, nickel and dimeing cock smoking, ass faced, carpet bagging, never ending with the stealing money little devils. Bless their hearts.

Still haven't received an email response for my application extension.

Semi related, I noticed the other day the registrations on two of the motorcycles expired in July of 2019.

Apparently when I got the new stickers I never put them on.

Now I have to decide if I want to put on the 2020 stickers or save myself the extra layer and just ride with the 2019 stickers until I get the 2021's in July.

I lost my 2020 stickers for my car last aug. I'm going to send it instead of paying for lost tags.

I do have a copy of the reg, so hopefully no issues. Hardly drive it anyway.

Yeah, I didn?t lose the tags. I found them right where I thought they?d be. Apparently just forgot to stick them on the plates.

I have a RV that has collectors plates. I need to do emissions for some reason. But it expired last year. If I try to register it will they waive those fee's that they slap on for being late?

I think it has to be 13 months expired or they will hit you with any and all fees they can. That is my county so YMMV.

I got pulled over back in Dec. for expired plates. I was 9 months passed due. Oops. Tried to talk my way out of it, but no joy. When I sent in the card to renew, about a week later I got a letter from Elbert County saying the I owed a late fee, of about double of what my tag should've cost me. So between the ticket that I got and the late fee my renewal cost me 3 times what it would've if I hadn't forgotten to get er done.

Morel to the story, don't be late because they'll take ya for everything they can and then some.
