    Default WY Gun Show Question

I have several C&R rifles as well as some hi-cap mags that I would like to (legally) move in one fell swoop, as opposed to individual online auctions. My reading of the WY state laws is that (even though I am a CO resident) I could rent a table at a gunshow in Laramie or Cheyenne and legally sell them there. Does anyone know differently? How does traffic flow for a WY show compare to Loveland or Denver? I haven't been to a gun show in a decade or more. Thx!

Contact the show host(s) before buying a table and verify they have no issues.
You can sell in WY. I do not know what the traffic at shows looks like with the Covid nonsense going on.
If the show has a NICS rule, you will need to abide by their rules. Magazines are not an issue.
As a reminder, do not sell to someone you suspect may not be legally able to own the firearm.

I am not a lawyer. Restrictive rules are arbitrary and change all the time. Don't mess with the feds.
    Never complain; never explain.

I appreciate the advice. My understanding is that WY does not have a NICS rule for private-party transfers, but I will check with the show. I certainly have no intention or desire to do anything illegal, or to put a rifle in the hands of anyone who shouldn't have one.

Yeah, you’re understanding of the situation is the same as mine.
Nothing implied with my first post of course. I debated on adding it. when you see that stuff just roll your eyes and remember your not the target audience, it’s to give the guy that finds this via a google search, and doesn’t have any sort of functional knowledge, a fighting chance.

Under federal law you would have to sell the firearms to an FFL or use an FFL to do the transfer to a private party.

As a resident of Colorado you can not sell to a resident of another state, C&R does not make a difference unless you have a C&R License, then I do not know how C&R licensee’s are regulated.

    Mags are no issue.
