Your visibility looks better than what we have right now. Was just out in the truck and it seems less than a mile.

I would just spray it off with a hose if you can. It might be a real problem if it sits for months and stains a light colored vehicle. The ash will contain some tars. It might require a hand wash & wax to preserve the paint.

Dark in FoCo at 1pm. Weird seeing all the business signs lit up, cars with headlights on. Hood of my auto covered in ash within an hour. Gave up on painting the house. Chunks of ash pretty much covering wet paint. Gonna be some dirty as hell snow falling on this state tonight.

My brother lives in Loveland and reported the same thing. Driving with headlight on in the afternoon, using wipers to clear ash from the windshield, etc. Damn.

It will be interesting to see the snow up there tomorrow.

It was nice in Elizabeth in the early morning and not too bad in Highlands Ranch around mid day. A little hazy/smokey in Thornton late afternoon but no ash like yesterday. At least my truck should get a free mother nature car wash starting late tonight.

Thanks. Truck is pretty well protected with a few coats of DIY ceramic spray "wax" but I should try to wash it more often I guess. Just sucks having to use a stool to get to the hood of this monster.

My truck had a strange coating last week. I finally figured out it was a coating of soot. I washed it off and then found out the paint is peeling due to a GM manufacturing defect.
