ACB has to be the odds on favorite at this point. Seems to be conservative through and through. Politically her choice is a no brainer. Even if Rs lose Romney, Collins, and Murkowski, Pence can be the deciding vote.

Hopefully Trump has the nomination ready on Monday to get the ball rolling so she is in place by Nov 3 to resolve any election arguments.

Both would be great picks. I just hope everything sticks together long enough to enjoy a normal future. A 6/3 would be an interesting supreme court. Liberal courts all over the country would suddenly start pretending to be conservative just to avoid anything reaching SCOTUS :P

There is a unique opportunity I'm noticing that you can seize upon. I'm noticing libs talking about immediately going out to buy a firearm now. What would the Democrats do in this situation? If you even question that they would Jam a liberal justice through as fast as possible you don’t know them.
They tied up Trump with numerous things from taxes, to Russia, to impeachment, to handling on chinavirus just to try and get him on his heels and slow him down.
In 2016 the biggest reason I wanted Trump to win was for this exact reason: SCOTUS picks.
Now he can get a third conservative judge in before this term is up. These appointments are for life. If it costs him the election so be it, and if he wins there is a possibility we could see another pick in the next 4 years but SCOTUS will be in a favorable position for conservatives either way and that is the most important thing imo.
