Except for DPMS, H&R, Stormlake and AAC that are going to the owners of Palmeto State Armory and Bushmaster is being bought by Franklin Armory (the binary trigger guys). I had an article with all the details but I can't find it. When I do I'll just put the link here.

Maybe it was this one https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/...on-asset-bids/
Yeah...I knew that. I just was thinking Remington and had a dumbass moment. Or, another dumbass moment.

No. We need more American companies to start manufacturing ammo, especially primers.

So I wonder, if I wanted to buy a Marlin 336, should I now wait and get a Ruger made one?

I'd buy one now ... because Ruger is going to move Marlin's production to AZ and that's going to take some time ... and then there will be some teething pains.

I suspect in the next few months, Marlins are going to go up in price once Marlin production shuts down to prep for the move. That and I predict that Lever Guns are about to explode into the "latest fad" among the gun hipsters (just look how every gun YouTuber seems to be putting out videos recently about the joys of the lever when most of them never even mentioned the things in the past).

Might have to grab one quick as I've been wanting a lever gun in .44 mag for about a decade now. Only problem is I just dropped money on body armor.

a year or so, down the road. Ruger can't keep up with production on their own brand atm. There's ad's all over the area for RUGER, NOW HIRING. And few are stepping up. The ones who are, eh how hard is it to push a RUN button. then STOP when it gets to x number on the DRO.

I guess RGR is hedging against Biden getting nominated.
I just wish that we get to see the break down numbers. I would have liked to see some other manufacturer got their ammo manuf piece of pie.
