Default Can Someone Recommend a Combatives Program

I've been referred to Martial Blade Concepts but it seems to be blade-centric training with Damithursilat (unarmed) as a secondary discipline. Plus Mr. Janich doesn't appear to be actively teaching. It would be cool but I don't see an entry point.

Anybody know of a good combatives program in North Metro/Northern CO area. Something along the lines of Commando Krav Maga or Gracie Combatives?

    Thanks All!

    SD.

There's a Krav Maga school in Broomfield-Google it and you'll find it probably.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

A couple guys I work with go to that Krav Maga location, They offer once a month specialized classes for LE, heard good things about it and would like to start going, but its a bit far from Parker. I trained at the Aurora location for awhile, very good stuff, probably the best real world training out there (IMO), just a bit pricey. I guess anything worth having is worth paying for tho.

I would go Krav Maga for sure. Its less art and more real life tactics.

Well I wasn't able to find a Krav program that wasn't complete horse puckey. I was able to find an instructor of Martial Blade Concepts. I was wrong to be apprehensive, this is a top notch program. I highly recommend MBC for anyone interested in a practical martial arts/combatives program.

I know MBC is local to CO. Do they offer any monthly classes? I see they do the usual seminar every August but do they offer anything else the rest of the year? I'm interested in their training.

I'm working with Michael Rigg, one of Mr. Janich's certified instructors runs a class on Saturday mornings in Frederick and he is available for private lessons. Very reasonable rates. If you can't work with him he will steer you in the right direction.

    Link to instructor contact info.

Look under Colorado, second instructor down.

So the class you are taking is general to the public or the private one?

I'll give Mr. Rigg a call soon. Thanks!
