I dont know all the details as far as the indictment is sealed at this point so it might not be because of the auto keycards it could be something else I dont know however like I said dont draw attention to yourself. I dont agree with any of it but that dont matter I dont make the laws or enforce them I just try to educate.

This is my suspicion. I bet they've got something else on him (like taking out Al Capone on tax evasion). I'm thinking if this was about the auto key cards, they'd 1) be contacting his customers and 2) they'd be bragging about how they're keeping illegal machine guns off the streets.

The part of this that I find most troublesome is how they arrest and indict you and then freeze your assets so you're unable to hire an attorney and are forced to use a public defender (who is likely not the best attorney available, and is an employee of the same government that is prosecuting you). Which makes the whole thing look even more like a set-up.

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."

They were selling prints, not devices.

Would I be arrested for putting the same print on paper? Or selling a picture of an actual one?

It's all 1st Ammendment so far in this case.

First off im not a lawyer nor do I pretend to be one. The part you're missing is "Intent" you don't have to break the law physically if they can prove intent. For instance If I was planning to rob a bank and LE got wind of it they could arrest me and prosecute even though I had not committed the act. So you bought an auto keycard, solvent trap, fuel filter, oil filter adapter ect. There is only one reason anybody would purchase that stupid shit and ATF knows exactly why that is. You cant bullshit them claiming you're going to hang your auto keycard on the wall next to your Picasso painting it's bullshit and they know it.

If I was out in the middle of the night peeking through windows claiming I was just out sight seeing would you believe me? It's a dangerous game people are playing thinking they are cute and circumventing the law and it is getting many people sent to prison. Again I don't agree with many of our gun laws but i sure as hell am not going to prison over stupid shit.

The "Intent" thing is horse shit. It's what they do, but it doesn't make it right.
Suppressors is the closest comparison I could think of. Should the ATF decide they want to stick it to you all they need is to show you own some aluminum wafers without a pre-approved tax stamp. And may God have mercy on your soul if you own a length of pipe and a Chore-Boy too.
    Never complain; never explain.

I agree with you to an extent and understand what you are saying but it go's both ways. If you have children and someone decided to shoot up the school would you rather LE let them do it? You're child dies and they could have stopped it but hey unless they actually follow through with it they should stand down and let it go until after the fact? I bet most would prefer they stopped it before hand. I'm just playing devils advocate making a point.

Intent is a big thing and unfortunately it go's both ways it can be a good thing and it can be a bad thing depending on the circumstances.

You jumped pretty far into that false analogy.

Nope just pointing out the facts the law applies to everything equally you cant pick and choose when you think it should apply and when it shouldn't!

I have a feeling that the regular cards were fine, but the "pencil holder" editions crossed the line. The hard parts were stamped out, leaving your machine gun just a jigsaw away.
