I got a quote from UPS for shipping, gave it to the client and then took the piece to be shipped, only to find out the actual shipping costs were $50 higher. The client has already paid the agreed price, nothing to be done. On top of that, the agent gets 30%. Every brush stroke is torn from my body...

Right on, I appreciate that. I'm starting to do a bit more freelance work, so I'm looking from time to time, and I'm always willing to help out people on here if they need something

I just semi retired. I work three days a week.
If I spend some time on the job the company also pays for our health insurance, $1000 per month. That is important because we are five years from medicare.

I am getting used to the ongoing four days weekends.
