All of you guys new to politics?

Since when has class been a trait exhibited in election campaigns or in public office or even demanded by the constituency?

If you do find a "classy" politician please post their voting record as well. We can compare the quality/level of class with quality of votes cast.

There's a difference between the constituency demanding people eat with two forks, and a demonstration of the complete absence of class entirely.

Some of the constituency is honorable, and want a republic of representative adults, not ruled by despotic toddlers. Clearly, a lot of people desire it or Trump would've readily won a second term.

ETA: It should be observed, this is directed at both sides, e.g. the AOC snapchat wing, as well as the GOP's instagram representatives.

I would argue that Thomas Massie is a pretty classy politician.

Thomas Massie and Justin Amash. If conservatives actually were familiar with their purported principles, one of these two would be in the White house right now. Instead we get clowns like Trump and Boebert, that are redefining conservatism into a pejorative.

This whole thing of justifying someone/something because there exists someone/something "worse" is disgusting. By that rationale, everything is fine as long as it's not the worst. We should have higher standards.

Compared to Trump, Biden has shown class. He hasn't packed the court, which shows at least a hint of restraint. Biden isn't on Twitter mocking anything and everything. He isn't so thin-skinned that he's going to war with every person who disagrees with him. No porn stars have accused him of anything yet, and he doesn't have a history of openly cheating on his spouse. Even with the gaffs, he is miles ahead of Trump on class. I wouldn't let Trump spend time with my boys or be alone with my wife.
Its one thing to have held your nose and voted for Trump, hoping the damage he would do would be outweighed by something avoided/averted. Its quite another thing to fly his flag and identify oneself with him, a man without loyalty to anyone or anything but his own vanity.

Out of the other, they'll deny that constituents, generally speaking, want politicians to have some class and not be unabashed narcissists with the manners of a toddler. Now, you deny that it was the controlling factor that kept Trump from being reelected.

Make up your mind. Hypocrisy is not funny. Even you guys admit that voters, in fact, do care if their candidate is an unabashed asshole or the "thank goodness there is no mean tweets" comment wouldn't be so prevalent. Maybe support an electable candidate in 2024 so we can get this shit show back on track.

But no, no, we're looking at 7 more years of Biden/Harris, because apparently there's not a single person out of 100 million conservatives that is qualified, if it's not a billionaire democrat from New York, it'll be nothing.
