I just replaced a bunch of new rocker switches in my new place with these smart dimmer switches:
And replaced some really cheapo style fan controls with some smart digital versions

Re-wiring made easier by using these Wago 221 "lever wire nuts":
These made it easier to keep the wires clean and neat, and made more space in the boxes, which was needed cause all these "smart" switches are extra deep.
Biggest benefit of these was when joining in stranded wires (that were internally attached on the new switches) to the exisiting solid copper. Every existing fan switch had the stranded wires, and in every case, the solid wire was untwisted with the stranded just wrapped around it in the wire nut. New connection with the wago is much more secure.
My brother does lots of electronics testing work, took a couple to work with him, ran 1500 watts thru them and measured with a thermal camera. The connector got no hotter than the wire itself.
