I have them on my carry gun, great product and excellent customer service! I bought that set used, the switch died so I sent them back, they replaced all the internal electronics for free and returned it with several new batteries. Then it turned out they had a bad batch of laser modules that wouldn't hold zero, so they just replaced the whole dang set for me. I'm sold on CT!

I'm sold on them for s/d use, but pistol lasers aren't for target shooting. Keep in mind the laser and bullet path are on two different planes, and only converge at the exact distance it's sighted in for. Before that spot and after that spot, the POI and the laser dot will be a little bit off from each other. The father away from that convergence point, the more the laser dot and POI will spread apart. Still very much minute-of-bad-guy, but they're not a magic talisman for target shooting.

Good reminder. It's amazing how much you get "Well, my laser is pointed there but it needs to be rezero'ed cause it's on at 20 feet but way off at 50!!" HAHA.

Good point-a lot of folks think they're magic accurizers.

I Wish I could find the quote on this.
Most unarmed or under-armed (Knife/Crowbar) assailants/robbers are less likely by (% I can't find) to engage someone with a firearm equipped with a laser as the dot directly on them has (Again I cant find it) psychological effect.

The Laser is to AID you in acquiring the target when all of your Muscles are screaming Fight or Flight and its a 50/50 mix.

To be honest, if I can save my family and get a bad-guy to surrender by using a firearm equipped with a CT by simply putting the dot on his chest and letting him make the wiser decision; with me not firing a single shot, That would be a win in my book.
I Fully understand the laser isn't "magic" it is an aid... and should be treated as such.

    my 2 cents

Not to Jack a thread, this sounds awesome, but if you're one of the guys who wants a CT for your weapon right now and can't wait I can sell you one Model number LG-446 for $140 right now. It'll fit any XD model in any caliber except for .45 ACP or the XDM line.

    PM me.
