New York enacted a duplicate AWB in 1994. The only difference is there is no expiration date. Pretty sure otherwise it is exactly the same.

Pre-ban magazines are worth a pretty penny in NY. I used to make some extra cash buying them off Arfcom and reselling them locally.

Ditto. anything that has a serial # verifiable as mfg prior to 9/94 meets the criteria of ownership in NY, Mass and a few other "Constitutionally NON-Compliant" states.
i can and have sold or traded "Pre" ban w/out dates pistol and rifle mags to folks i know back in y and while not legal to sell a complete mag to CA. they can purchase "replacement" parts to rebuild their damaged {Existing} mags. the biggest buyers i have dealt with in CA are LE's who also cannot own "post" ban items.
    What a Country.............................

A lot of people take the risk with unmarked mags. If it doesn't have a date stamp (as most pre-ban mags don't, since it wasn't required) but was manufactured by a company that existed before the ban, that is usually "good enough" in a lot of people's eyes.

He is dumb but I dont think Prickenlooper will do it. He knows he will kill his political career if he does. CA would be a great place to sell stuff but you cannot sell private party anymore. I think there is an exemption IF you registered your stuff with the state when they told the people to. I dont know anyone that did including LEOs.
