Wow... as I read many of these responses I have one overriding thing to say...

    OK, guys... CHILL.

First, I did look at the Businesses Listed... I did not see anyone specifically mention "Transfer" Services, rates or references to support these activities. If you would like to get some of this "minimal grief", "gravy" business, maybe you want to put this somewhere... oh, I don't know... NEAR THE TOP of your Business post? Especially since it was pointed out that "...we get one of these (requests) nearly once a month".

Search Function? FFL is THREE Letters... the search function BARFS with less than FOUR. So Searches for things like SKS, AP9, 9mm, .40 cal, 308, .45, 223, FN, FAL, Sig, H&K... and, oh yeah, FFL get REJECTED! These are such uncommon terms that I can totally understand them not being relevant search terms... NOT! Problem, maybe?

Next... I have not purchased a Firearm through a Dealer in 25-ish years. All of my purchases have all been FTF Since I Relinquished My Own FFL nearly a quarter century ago. I hold a BATFE Category VII Tank, Armored Vehicle and Military Truck Importer Registration and the Combination of FFL and Cat. VII served to attract far too much scrutiny from "Alphabet Soup" Agencies. I really only need 1 rectal-exam a year, thank you very much. So, as such, I cannot handle Commercial Transactions & Transfers of "little" guns... Howitzers, SCUDS, 105mm, 120mm I Can Handle. I am now seeking out a FRIENDLY FFL HOLDER. Not the Cheapest. Not someone Dishonest. F-R-I-E-N-D-L-Y. As in Amiable, Knowledgable and Capable of Sharing that Knowledge, an all-round "Good-Guy" ... or "Good-Gal"... as the case may be and one that would not get too deep into my wallet. I posted here to solicit OPINIONS of various FFL Holders. A retelling of past experiences... both good (as recommendation) and bad (as warning).

So... unbunch your panties, girls! And quit your irrelevant whining and bitching.

And... as far as any "rubbing" is concerned... I NEVER TOUCHED YOU 'BAILEY GUNS'! I don't care WHAT that Video Tape shows!! But if I ever did, I would probably be able to figure out how not to do it the "Wrong Way"!

OK Gentlemen. Gauntlet Down. Ready, break! Prep your Seconds, back to your freakin' corners and come out SWINGING!

I am going to have to stick up for the OP on this one. He said he was looking for a friendly person to do business with. I did not get the impression that he was looking for someone to screw over or someone to hold responsible for anything that goes wrong. He didn't say he wanted a FFL that he could be a dick to or that he could take advantage of. He was looking for a nice guy to help him buy some guns.

In his words, chill out. Bailey, this guy could have been a customer of yours. He clearly wanted to work with someone the people on here know and trust. Maybe he would have found that you could get him what he wanted instead of doing a transfer. But instead you jump his case just for asking if anyone knew anyone that could help him. Is that how you treat all potential customers? He wasn't a dick to you but you got on his case anyway. So if someone else came to you asking to buy something would you just assume they were a dick and treat them like they screwed you over before they even said anything??? Don't bunch the OP in with all your past negative experiences.

I think if you'll reread what I wrote, you'll get answers to all your questions.

Not to mention Bailey is probably a little far for him to travel for a transfer.
