    bingo. also, if you are significantly concerned with look then its true airsoft rails and furniture will often have the finish wear off faster, but if you are so leet to have ot buy top end everything then that shouldn't bother you anyway since youll be abusing the equipment while on your weekend ops

    I would guess an airsoft rifle would get more "field use" than an AR by a bunch of old civilians like us. I haven't bought any airsoft parts but I would believe some of them are well made.

    some are very well made. some are complete garbage. the problem is that people who have never been into airsoft only know the POS they sell at places like dicks sporting goods and the like. people spend $500-1000 on a good airsoft rifle, and yes i agree its completely nuts but you better believe its actually pretty damn good quality. and its true that as far as furniture goes airsoft guns often get more use and abuse than some of us real gun folk give our rifles.

    as previously stated though i wouldn't risk it on sights and scope rings, etc. thats the kinda stuff that you want to be consistent and accurate. but handguards, stocks, lights, lasers, etc are all fine.
