I got mine a couple of days after I turned 16. By then I was already on my second car and 3rd Kart since I had been racing since I was 12.
When I bought my first Kart I found a guy in HS that had a car and told him "if ya take me and my Kart to the track I will let ya drive it"

i got mine two days after i turned 16...my birthday was on saturday...just before all the rule started and i didnt want to have all those restrictions on my license

I got mine when I turned 16, nowadays I don't need one.
No habla ingles and they let me go.
oh and I got my license when I turned 16, after having a learners permit for a year.
the more you drive, the more experience you gain and the better you get.
I don't agree with people that think driving age should be raised to 18.
didn't need one when I was 12.
Drove to the dump every Sat.

I had to get mine so they could charge points against it. Sucks getting a 15 point ticket before you even have your permit
when we were kids, everyone got a permit at 15 3/4 and everyone was driving by 16. its what kids did.
