People always call me out on this because my family is 100% Italian. I am 2nd generation on both sides of my family and I still have a large portion of family in Naples Italy. I say build a big fence and not let anyone else in and deport those who are here illegally. People always then bring up my family to which I reply...

-Grandpa moved her legally from Sicily, and my other Grandpa moved her Legally from Naples.
- Both learned to speak English BEFORE they came over.
- Grandpa from Naples moved here first, got a job and worked hard. he then brought my grandmother over, who also spoke English by the way. After they were here my Grandfather opened his own poultry shop in Boston.
- When my parents were born, BOTH sides taught them Italian but also told them to only speak it in the house if they wanted too. You were NOT to speak it outside. Why? We are in America and Americans now! They were both so excited to be in America. This is also the reason why I don't speak Italian. They didnt share it as we are Americans now!

That's the type of immigration I am ALL for. Everyone else and go away.

I'm assuming you came here legally? I have no problem with that if that's the case. If you're here illegally, I have a huge problem with it.

As for the rest...yeah, it sucks. But it's not the responsibility of the US to take in every person from every third-world shithole.

not what i ment, besides they leave Mexico to get away from people who wouldn't think twice to shoot them,

just to let you know i came here from a town (in Mexico) of around 2,000.
today the population is about 1,000 mostly woman and the men didn't come to the U.S.

Guess they are stuck between the drug cartels and aguy who couldn't give a shot. There is a process in place. They love to reap the benefits of our system and I am tired of it.

If you went through the process to come here legally then you obviously know how it is done and that it can be done. So I assume there shouldn't be any excuses.
