I've ALWAYS known my dad had guns. I NEVER once got the whim of an idea to take one to school. Or even touch it for that matter. I knew I would get a hellfireshitstorm if I did.

Same at our house and grandparents house. We knew where they were. We knew they were loaded. We knew we were to NEVER touch them without permission. What has happened?

I don't know why I laughed so hard when I read this...just the thought of a kindergartener with a saturday night special made me laugh

When the hammer is resting on a LOADED cylinder, it could go off if dropped. But again, a single action is about the size of that kindergartners head, I don't see him concealing it from his teachers all the way till lunchtime.
