Same at our house and grandparents house. We knew where they were. We knew they were loaded. We knew we were to NEVER touch them without permission. What has happened?

That bullshit about kids not knowing the difference between right and wrong. Kids know, the mentally disabled do not.

My Grandpa kept a rack full, unlocked, and you're right I never touched them, ever, ever.

We'll probably never find out, what kind of gun it was. I'm curious, because I want to know so I never buy one that fires when dropped.

Hope everyone is ok and the parents get what they deserve.

A single action revolver will go off if dropped when the hammer is resting on an empty cylinder... but I don't know of any single actions that can be concealed in a kindergartner's pocket.

Not trying to be the grammar police but do you mean when the hammer is NOT resting on an empty cylinder?

    Yes. That. Fawkin rum.
When the hammer is resting on a LOADED cylinder, it could go off if dropped. But again, a single action is about the size of that kindergartners head, I don't see him concealing it from his teachers all the way till lunchtime.
