He'd make these "joking" little comments about "front me some bread, man", or "yo man, write me one o' them big ol' checks, he'p a brotha out". But after the incident, he's never made another peep about that.

I truly believe he saw an opening to try and help himself to what he thought he "deserved a piece of" and went for it, trying to spend money right out of my account. But the purchases failed, thank God the bank caught the odd charges and called me about them. I can't say it "backfired" on him because he's unscathed, but the free ride certainly ran out of gas on him and he had to walk home. I can only hope the woman that he was trying to bone tossed him on his ass because the gifts he promised never arrived.

Really burns my ass to look at him every day and listen to him smooth talking innocent, lonely, fat women on the phone, but the reality is that I CAN'T accuse him of anything without any proof, it would backfire on me and HR would own my ass. And I can't get any proof because the vendors refuse, and the DPD refuses, and the bank's not interested. I did tell my manager about it, the very next morning. He's concerned too, but our hands are tied. No way to prove shit, and it didn't really cost me anything, best to just let it go. What am I supposed to do, cap his ass in a dark parking lot?

There's right, there's wrong, and there's reality. Guess which one wins. I fucking HATE criminals.
do something to get him back.

    seriously.

    make him pay.

Does he also steal food etc out of the fridge at work?

If so dose something up with laxatives! Did that once with a bottle of ketchup as there was one person always stealing stuff. It stopped after that.

Won't get your money back but you'll get a laugh at all his bathroom visits!

How's about hiding something that stinks in his cube?

I had a manager tell HR that I threatened her because IT found that I was browsing Silencertalk and arfcom at work. Actually, I don't know exactly what she told HR, but I was put on paid leave for a month while an "investigation" was done, then forced to resign in lieu of termination. I was called in to HR on a Friday at about 10:30am. I was out of the building by 11:30 (escorted by Denver PD). They told me that I couldn't tell anyone I knew anything about what was going on. Not my parents, not my fiance that I lived and worked with, not my other roommates, etc. I told them that was fine, but they should know that my manager was going to tell everyone that she knew. They said that they were aware of her "history."

So Monday morning, there is a crowd of people waiting at my fiance's desk when she arrives. Everyone immediately starts saying things like, "I heard Irving was going to blow up the building!" "Did he really threaten Bitch Manager?" "I heard he keyed her car!"

I should have lawyered up immediately.

I recently applied for a job, and one of her little trolls now works at the place where I applied. He told them I got fired for something about guns. Kind of funny, since he didn't even work there when that happened. Hadn't for years in fact. Why? Because he misappropriated company funds. He allegedly used company CC to pay for a golf game during a training thing out of town. That's what I heard, what everyone heard, but since it's none of my business, and I wasn't directly involved, I'd never EVER tell another company about it. None of their damn business. Who knows how he knows what he thinks he knows, but I sure as hell didn't start any rumors about blowing up a building, and never made a threat to anyone. In fact, I spoke to my manager as little as possible because I disliked her so much.

Now, I can't sit here and tell you that I was the best employee, because I wasn't. I was smart, but I had a huge focus problem and would browse on the internet, or walk around and talk to people instead of working. My numbers were inconsistent, I just generally didn't do what I should have been doing. But I did NOT eve threaten anyone or anything close.

Why am I ranting all this?

    1) Could be worse, at least Ron got to keep his job.
    2) Colorado is not a right to work state, his manager doesn't need a legit reason to let someone go. Hell, he doesn't even have to lie about it. If he is really worried about Ron's scum co-worker, should be easy enough to get rid of him.

That's the truth. I knew who broke into my house, told the cop. The asshole left his finger prints on the window, and still the cops didn't get him.

His girlfriend, (My womans best friend at the time) called me a couple years later to tell me yes he did it, they still had my stuff. Would I press charges against him because they are splitting up and she wanted a better shot at custody.

End of the story, karma got them both. He killed himself a couple years later, and she stroked out at the age of 30 because of her prescription drug problem. She's useless now and has no quality of life.

Too bad all thieves can't end up that way.

Guess I just believe in not causing myself more hell just to get even with being wronged. Reckon I didn't get to be 55 without learning a few lessons along the way. I also believe in karma, he'll get his someday, somehow, someway. Maybe he'll get some ugly gorilla pregnant, or one will pound his ass like a transsexual in a McDonalds.

I've been burned a lot harder by many others. Nearly everyone that my step-grandson is related to has caused me FAR, FAR more pain and loss than this douchebag. A child gets born to two losers, and all of his relatives turn their backs and walk away, leaving me and my wife to raise him with no assistance or involvement for them at all? Then there's my wife's ex-husband, who never paid a dime of child support for his two kids. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Nothing, people were just annoyed by it. My target knew I did something, and it wasn't long until she found it and threw it in my face.
