Is she an idiot no. But right now Ivy League looks real light weight and does nothing for us. Does she have more common sense than most in DC, you betch ya. Does she scare all the belt way panty wastes oh yea. No golf for her she would be shooting, hunting and fishing with the secret service shooting full autos with Ted Nugent photo ops.

Everyone has miss spoken about something they should know and it gets harder knowing every word you speak is looked at through a microscope. I cut her slack knowing this especially from the media nowdays.

Is she running? No, I believe she is trying to energize the base so the candadates start off with a solid conservative focus and hopefully bringing the most conservative candidate to the forefront to run against odumbo.

We have several good candidates that may not have everything but are far and away better than odumbo. Until Paul Ryan or Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindle come up we would do well with Tim Pawlenty or Romney. Herman Cain also has started to get traction. I really like Paul but he is more hated by the media than Palin.

It is early on and lots of mud slinging and vetting.

Lastly would most men on this forum say no to someone like her if you already not that blessed?

she isn't the brightest. im not a fan. but personally i don't think those types of things should eliminate someone from president. you can make sound national decisions with basic common sense. in fact in some ways thats what we are missing. hey we could keep with tradition and go with slick, smooth talking salesmen who cheat on their wives, lie for a living and don't know what its like to be a normal citizen in america. why is those people are more acceptable to be president? because theyre rich? because they went to an ivy league school? im tired of zero common sense presidents. reagan wasn't a genius by most standards. he just had common sense.

I don't think the press, the left and a portion of the right abhor Palin for WHO she is, but rather WHAT she symbolizes.

A lot of traditional American values and beliefs.
This is a pothole in the road for the "Progressive" ideology and they can't stand her poking the bees nest.
    Her ideals scare them.

She may not always articulate herself the best but at least you know it is her thoughts and words as opposed to a scripted teleprompter address that some overpaid twit composed.

This isn't true, I don't care what her values are.

I am reasonably sure She couldn't pass a citizenship test, that's why I don't like her.

I know a ton of liberals, they are fine with very socially conservative people, but Sarah Palin makes her own bed. Can't blame the media, she said it, she puts herself out there. Her words, her fault. Its not like they are in her yard at 2 in the morning quizzing her, she was asked a question at a press function, that she went to, and her running, unedited response was fully wrong, again. Bumble, please, helped the British, that's completely wrong, 180 degrees wrong, of a fairly simple concept that most 13 years olds should be able to handle.

After that, don't get me started on Service, because I don't like her for a clear misunderstanding of what service means. It doesn't involve quitting half way into a known term, because you have a shot to make more money and be on TV. She has proved all other listed reasons to be false, except for maybe the ethics violation one, that could be it too.

I see your point and it is a valid one. It is those bobbles and fumbles that don't make her presidential material.
But I still think she represents some things that the lefties despise.

I don't know that, for all her bluster, she has been for things like windfall profit taxes on oil companies.

I mean, she talks a good game, but when it gets right down to it I don't know how different she'd be.

She won't give it up...seriously. She is almost impressive now. And I guess it wasn't a blunder at all.
