Isn't there a bunch of coal mines in that area?
What are the chances of a coal seam catching fire?

Yes, there are coal mines in the area. The Whitington Center sits on a coal mine or 2, or more. Turner owns an old one going west, on NM-555 (I think that is the number).

I don't think there are any active ones...but I'm sure that there is still plenty of coal in the area. But, i ain't much of an expert on the area.

I have a match at the WC, starting 7/11, I think, I hope that nonsense is done by then. I also hope that they get it under control, soon.
