Sadly the Lefthand area is out of control. My bet would be some partyers left a fire going. It's not just shooting and off-roading up there, even though they are the most visible. Sadly, the shooters don't help the situation.

i should be well under way by 10 , its probably gonna take a few to make a plan also as far as i know the road (dirt) is still blocked off , so the hard part will be hauling all the mess back to the main road .
I can be there til about 2:00.
Haven't been in that area for a while. Is the dirt road gated at Lefthand Canyon Dr? The best I can offer is a truckbed trailer to haul stuff.

ill have the pick up for that one , no road is blocked by a caution tape and a small road block , it could be moved but i just assume leave it (might slow down the flow of trash . if this week goes well ill contact the park service and ask if we can drive up for a larger weekend clean up
Post up on www.colorado4x4.org if you decide to do a bigger workday. I did a clean-up with them a few years ago and they arranged for a roll off dumpster.
