    26?

Enjoy your 20s, have fun, you have plenty of time for responsibility and an empty wallet . Don't rush it; have fun!!! If a women comes along where you are compelled to spend your life with her especially through all of life’s shit, then seize it. If not, run away.

My dad was turning 47 when I was born. YOU HAVE TIME!

What's right for one person is decidedly wrong for another. 26 is pretty young, no matter how a person does the math.

I got married at 29, now 31 with a 18 month old and one in the oven! I met my wife totally outta the blue when I was not looking for a relationship. Things come along at weird times! I love my family but when the dogs are barking and the kiddo is screaming and my wife is yelling cause I bought a gun, or something like that all during the Packer game.......I often find myself floating back to 26 and the only thing I was worried about was picking up a bar close dirty for the night!!! Ahhhhhhhh, those were the easy days! Life will play out all in due time, enjoy every stage of it!

My wife and I got married when I was 34. We have lots of things in common. The things that we don't share, she still supports me and I support her. That's a huge deal.

If I was younger I would have screwed it up. I know that because I screwed up plenty.

You don't want to be that guy that used to be interested in things before they were married, but now they have someone else telling them what they need to be doing.

Great examples: My wife knew I wanted to go hang out with my buddies one Friday night at a local car gathering. While I was at work she pulled my '07 Z06 Corvette out of my shop, hand washed it, hand waxed it and gave it a good detailing before I got home from work. She was 8 months pregnant at the time.

On our first date we hung out at my house and watched movies. When she walked in she saw my Ruger Red Label over/under 12ga and she asked if I would mind if she cleaned her concealed carry pistol and her shotgun. Then she went out to her car and pulled her shotgun out of her trunk. It was love.

    Yup, she's a keeper.

I was 24 when I had my son. My family is by far the most important thing to me and I'd die for them without hesitation. That's the kind of responsibility that shouldn't be jumped into.

Wait. If there's someone out there for you, you'll find them. No need to rush it.

    I'm 26, married for a year, kid due Oct. 7. I can't wait to be a dad!

but don't rush into things either. you have a very long time to live (hopefully) and whether it is with the same woman or not depends on what kind of woman you find. it has to be the right one for you.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
