You must be absolutely comfortable with your:
belt
Holster
Weapon
Ammunition
Magazines
Training
I Cannot over emphasize the training enough.
all in all, its a chain...
If any of those are weak, you risk a break

Thanks Ronin and everyone else for all the great advice. Going with the Hornandy rounds and Glock 27![]()
Go ahead and run. You will just die tired.
And hook up with Nogaroheli for an IWB holster. He'll take good care of you..
Thats good ammo. I have a few different kinds I carry.
Remember that water test I posted up here? It didnt get as much views as I thought.
Its really good for referencing and knowing how your ammo performs.
I have tested so many diffrent kinds. Im glad I tested it all because there is some garbage I would trust with ANYONEs life
I put in for my CHP the same day you did in Douglas county. It's supposed to be one of the better counties for CHP, but I haven't heard back yet (only been a week). I was told 4-6 weeks, I guess its just a waiting game now!
congrats!
In El Paso county it took longer to renew my permit than it did to issue it initially. I think it was the post office though! 10 days first time 2 weeks to renew.
When I got mine in El Paso County in 07, it took just shy of three weeks. Gotta renew next year, if I go through Arapahoe, I wonder if I'll have to pay the full fee as a new applicant...
