Screw the NRA, too many times they have made comprimises with the anti-gun groups in Washington and that doesn't fly with me. I don't want my "RIGHTS" turned into bullshit comprimises.

True, NRA is a bunch of bullshit lobbyist lawyers, but some times the best option is to fight fire with fire. They can get stuff done, and even their compromises are very effective at blocking other long-term anti 2A movements.

We all know this, but the anti's don't care to use facts to make their case, they prefer to use emotion. If they spent their time and energy trying to find the root cause of the problem instead of blaming hte tool used by the offenders, then maybe things could actually improve.


And this ^^ is what it all really boils down to. It's about keeping the peasants in line and not allowing them to threaten the power base of the ruling elite. Remember, "gun control" has nothing to do with Guns and everything to do with Control.

Spot on. America has deteriorated to a level where personal accountability and respect for each other is non existent. When we reach this level nobody trusts one another and divided we fall. The current regime is just another separatist puppet in a long line of professional politicians that could give a crap less about this country or the lives or desires of their constituent population. The last time gun owners "laid down" for it, the internet hardly existed in the form it does today. Details about things, especially bills before Congress, are relayed across the planet and around the globe in mere minutes. And it provides for a place to quickly rally the populace against a bad law, putting the pressure on Congress to knock it down.


Seriously, the President is nowhere near as important to the people of the country as the media makes him seem. Congress is the ones that present and vote on potential laws. They are the ones that need to be watched, the ones that need to be kept in check.

The President is a figurehead that can at most urge Congress to do something, but has no law making power.
