Agree totally. My roommate and I are both smokers. He has a 3-year-old son, and we don't smoke in the house, or when he's around. I smoke in my Jeep too, but I don't on those rare occasions when my niece is riding with me.

Nay Sayers - what about protecting people who cannot speak for themselves, such as children who know no better?

Sure a person can destroy their own lungs, I personally don't give a shit. But I do care about that infant.

Then go pass a law banning smoking and everything else YOU think is unhealthy, otherwise STFU.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
