    Had local tire shop forget to tighten the lug nuts on a jeep that I once had, and this was after shelling out $600 + for a set of tires.

    To the OP, it must have been beer-thirty when you put that wheel back on, or, there is someone that doesn't like that you pissed them off..

    You should always recheck torque about 100 miles after rotation. Sucks for sure though. Glad nothing worse happened.

    Then check it again a few days later to make sure there was not something in between that gave a false reading.
