i don't know anything about the guy and am not defending him, but i watched the press conference and although the rhetoric was suspicious, what he was trying to say is that they need to get guns out of the hands of teens and others who have them illegally because kids don't understand the damage they can cause. basically he was talking about high school and slightly older than high school kids that are gang banging. again, i don't even know the guy or care about him, but during the press conference it really didn't sound that bad, just poor choice of words.
