Nice! Can I cast from shore using night crawlers?

I'm pretty sure you can, but I'm not sure if you'd come up with anything of size. The first fish I caught yesterday was in about 15 ft of water and it was a 4" smallmouth. I guess it depends on where you are.

I'm not sure what other people fishing from shore were using, but I saw quite a few people out there.

I'm going for fun and enjoy the lake. Catching a fish is just a bonus =)

Agreed. It's great to be on or near the water with a fishing pole in hand.

Looks like they have some channel cats in there. My neighbor thought that big walleye was going to be a carp. We're glad it wasn't!

LOL no limit on carp. Seems like size isn't an issue.

I think the only regulation on size is for walleye. 15" minimum with and only one keeper over 21". (see CDOW fishing brochure)
