G19. Mick had the right idea. 17 rounds of 9mm in a compact is hard to beat.

These are 45's, but use your imagination and pretend their in 9mm.
Pick one, big, small, new design, old design. They all work and shoot extremely well.

All the 1911s I have owned have eaten everything I fed them and not stovepipe or anything!!!!!!
Glock 19 or S&W Shield, I know shield isn't "high cap" but its one of the nicest guns i've fired.
