Under control tonight- trust me. I didn't start this one back up. Won't go much farther here either. I think I made my point and little need to just troll.

I'm not your son- and as posted, it was just an FYI.
Easy man lighten up. Heard of Foghorn Leghorn? Funny shit.
There a time and place for everything. Now and at that place and in that way was NOT a good judgement call to stand up for your rights. You realize that most liberal groups we make fun of do exactly what you are sayin right? In fact "standing up for their rights" is a coined phrase of theirs. Rey use it, as it is here, to take away all responsibility or acting like complete idiots. It's my rights man!!!! Ok. No one here or anywhere is even talking about taking away those rights. All we are talking about is exercising caution and prudence when exercising them. If everyone in this country went around exercising our rights to make a statement or just because we can, we would all be assholes and would likely get into a lot of trouble. As stated, especially with a ccw there was no reason to open carry in a highly tense place during a highly tense time. He should have used his brain.
Most of us are trying to look at this objectively. We get made when groups we are not a part of exercise rights at awful times or purposefully try to ruffle feathers. It's only right we identify the times that our groups do the same and chastise them for poor judgement and decision making. Otherwise we look like a bunch of sheeple that simply think anything to do with the right to beat arms is free game, while criticizing people who routinely exercise their first amendment rights because we don't agree with them.
The only defense I have seen this far is "it his right!!!", or "he has to exercise it or we will lose it!!!". Meanwhile no one is even talking about him not having the right or those rights being taken away. I am sure everyone of us will defend him if that's the case. This isn't a rights issue at all. This is about thinking before you act. I don't see anyone here protecting the Muslims or WBC when they exercise free speech and start saying they have to exercise that right or it'll be gone. However, I'll bet if anyone ever did threaten to take away their free speech we would defend their right. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should or at least should without thinking it all through.
