Dr's are called Practitioners they are practicing marlin on You. LOL

OK for the record, Shot 9mm in and out, cut working the door at a club, cue stick to back of head, all a few stitches, none was a major pain. Broken about every bone including neck, pelvis etc, think Bear has me beat on bones. (Evil Kneivil would be jealous)
Worst pain though is sciatic if any of you ever have it you will want to be shot because morphine doesn't work.

    1) Broken ribs / collapsed lung (you cant move, breathe, or live without wanting to be dead)
    2) Viral infection on my optic nerve. (Nearly went insane from how much this hurt. Literally)

I was on a C-130 from Bagrahm to Al Udeid. We were stuffed in there like sardines for 8 hours. I had to pee the whole time. Holding it for 8 hours was the worst pain I ever felt. When we finally landed and I got to the bathroom it took me about 30 seconds before I could piss. That was horrible.

That or feeling my hand thaw after frost nip. I thought I was gonna throw up.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

I second gout. Severe cases, they say, is comparable to child birth. I get it once a winter, lasting a week to 10 days. First year was the worst. Sheets touching would send me through the roof. 3 1/2 " nail in knee and nailing 2 fingers to a stud didn't even come close to the pain of my gout. Oh boy, winters comin.

    Not as bad as some.

Separated my tibula and fibula at the ankle and tore the deltoid ligament of the ankle and broke the fibula in half. Drunk as hell when it happened and it kinda hurt then. Had surgery the next day and woke up to my anke being the size of a cantelope. Could not put my foot down for a week cause the blood russing to it made it feel like it was going to explode. I am paying for it now 15 yrs later with more pain.

Also, with Bert on the deverticulitis. Feels like you have to take the nastiest crap ever but can't. (Pockets in your intestine that collect food and then it becomes infected)

My top two, in no particular order:

    1. My appendix getting ready to pop. I let it go on for three days before the woman I was seeing at the time bullied me into going to the doc- she threatened to withold sex, so I was left with no choice. My own stupid fault, I know.

    2. Getting pepper sprayed in the military police. That was the purest form of hell I've ever encountered. Send me through the gas chamber 10 times before you spray me with that crap again.

Best I can provide, not nearly like some others listed here.

and I now live with Central Pain Syndrom: Entire left side of body.
(very similar to shingles nerve pain noted by JoeT)

The extent of pain is usually related to the cause of the CNS injury or damage. Pain is typically constant, may be moderate to severe in intensity, and is often made worse by touch, movement, emotions, and temperature changes, usually cold temperatures. Individuals experience one or more types of pain sensations, the most prominent being burning. Mingled with the burning may be sensations of "pins and needles;" pressing, lacerating, or aching pain; and brief, intolerable bursts of sharp pain similar to the pain caused by a dental probe on an exposed nerve. Individuals may have numbness in the areas affected by the pain.
