I really don't care if there is a sign or not. Concealed means Concealed. I do obey the laws for Federal, Schools and certain places like Event Centers that may have metal detectors or check points to search for weapons.

only places, like mentioned before are:
    Federal buildings
    State buildings
    County courthouse
    Kidz school

Places I do it, because I don't trust their security:
Malls(once a year for xmas gifts, i hate em)
ChuckyCheeses (carry my pocket wheel gun, not my glock, and they do post a sign), wife feels safe when i do it, so no complaints...And if you guys say don't support their business, then you don't have little kids that love that place, but we limit their support...

The business can pursue trespassing charges against you, but who really cares, if it's concealed, they'll never know.

I will never try to get in a gunfight inside those locations, more along the lines of get a handle on the situation, find a way to gtfo, and engage as last resort in those locations. In the parking lots at those locations, well, know your surroundings, and have a hard solid handle on situational awareness. A teenage hoodlum looking to get your wallet at the point of a knife is still a painful engagement for both sides.

    damn, am i ranting?

if you some how get caught
my understanding of the law is the most they can do to you ( Outside of a k-12 school, a federal building or an airport) Is issue a trespass citation or warning. ( Isn't colorado wonderful?)

And again the way I understand the law no matter how many of those you get it can't deny you for a renewal. ( not a felony)( again.. isn't this state awesome?)

If they don't allow CCW then don't go there again if you can help it.
Ok...out of curiosity for those who carry in stores that do not allow it (which I have never ran across) and action is required (for some crazy reason)? Then what (besides a lawyer)? I don't think you'll end up with a trespass citation or warning? I'm pretty sure the families significant other(s) from who's life you took will be sueing? Hypotheically speaking of course.
Forgiveness is between them and god. It’s my job to arrange the meeting

Suspect there'd be a law suit sign or no but think I'd rather be alive for one if there was. Dead sign-compliant victim is not a title I aspire to.

I will not get in to the whole engaging another person with a gun debate as it's friday and i'm going to my niece's wedding.
HOWEVER BE A GOOD WITNESS UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE THE OTHER PERSON WITH A GUN IS TRULY A BG
OR THIS CAN HAPPEN. John was 51 not in his 40's as this report soon after the whole incident happened.

    ONE OTHER ITEM
Take a CCW class where they discuss the law and not their career as a LE.
Multiple members here offer quality classes my self included. Starting at the basic level up to very advanced ones in hand gun, rifle & shot gun.

This is not entirely correct... If you walk into a private establishment where the owner or manager does not allow firearms, all they can do is ask you to leave. If you refuse to leave the premises, THEN you may be charged with Trespassing.

THIS! Touche! You do not, let me put that in bold, You do not have any duty to act in the event of a crime- like Jim said, be a good witness, unless you feel that there is imminent threat to your life, the shot you don't take may in fact be the best decision. Remember: Once you pull that trigger there is no going back, and wherever that round goes you are responsible for it.

As far as establishments that don't allow firearms- I don't frequent them, so I carry everywhere except federal property, K-12 schools and locales with metal detectors... I also don't really look for signage that says no firearms- concealed means concealed.

Jim- side note, I'd love to take one of your advanced hand gun classes someday!

I carry everywhere except schools and occasionally the post office but I have found a bank that does postal work and do all my stuff there unless I have to pick up a package I was supposed to sign for. And even then I have a plan to get back to my vehicle and retrieve it if necessary.

    concealed means concealed.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

I don't post my personal carry policy. I do want to say that I won't carry into a bar that pats you down. I just don't go inside at all. A bar that pats everyone down is not a place I want to be, armed or not.

Why does this remind me of Chris Rock:
"Never go to a party with metal detectors, sure it feels safe on the inside, but what about all them n***** with guns on the outside? They know you ain't got one!" (sic)
