If you like it buy it. I just built a rifle with no FA and I love it. It's my favorite out of all my ARs. I've never used the FA on any of my rifles! As stated earlier, if you get a jam dump the round and move on to the next one!

DPMS sportical via WALMART does not have deflector nor forward assist. It's becoming my fav. plinker.

Colt AR's tend to hold their value better than most brands regardless of how they're configured. So if you find a Colt for a good price, buy it.
