Bad news: everyone here thinks prices will skyrocket.
Good news: these same people predicted a Romney landslide.

Question was about guns. Things will calm down in a bit once everyone realizes that nothing changed but right now there is a bit of a panic.
I'll admit I've been waiting for a nice high inflation level thanks to the fed but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe the smart people do actually know their job![]()
There will be a rise in prices for a bit of time, but quite frankly not many people have the spare cash to buy firearms. A good chunk of Americans have spent their extra cash already to stay a float the last 4 years. Raises if any have been eaten up by the other costs of living. The buying will be done quickly and the dealers will raise prices. Sad situation for us all the way around. Don't think it had can be sustained for long , financialilly 2008 is a lot different than 2012. Quite frankly many of us did do some major buying from 2006- 2008 when things were better. For example it not cost me $3.50 a gallon to drive to Jensens in 2007. But I do remember the 1200 WASR AK of 2008. Things may suck today about how I feel about the election but i feel good about where I am in my inventory all the way around. The only thing that would scare me is if we had to reconfigure our rifles and such to be California compliant. However I don't see congress bringing up a AWB in the next two years. Some mass shootings could change this, but i just don't see it.
