I just received a letter from Costco with check in the envelope and a request to call a phone number to activate the account and then I will also receive a UK Lottery payout of $150,000 USD. The enclosed check is to be used to pay the taxes on the $150K.

The phone number to call is the scam: It will cost you thousands in long distance charges.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
