I know the NSSF (National Shooting Sports foundation - the organization that runs the SHOT Show in January) calls ARs Modern Sporting Rifles. Their reasoning is pretty sound, in that the AR platform is today used for everything - pistols, plinking, home defense, precision shooting, sniper rifles, varmint rifles, hunting rifles - and even Shotguns (that Turkish gun introduced in the past year). By far the fastest growing platform in the shooting world.

Fire Extinguishers. All mine are specifically designed to/for extinguishing incoming fire from unlawful threats.
