Interesting.... I happen to know a lot of liberals. I work for a public school district and my wife's family is full of em'.... Granted, speaking to most of them makes me want to rip out (whats left of) my hair, but not all of them are gun grabbers...

Take for example my mother in law. She's all for gay marriage, single payer health care, etc., but not only does she hold a concealed carry permit, she paid for my wife and I to get ours as an anniversary present. Big advocate of firearms training and CCW for women in particular. Openly states she disagrees with Obummer that gun control will have any positive effect in reducing firearms related crime.

There is a man who works as a custodian at one of the elementary schools. Very mild mannered, slightly built, openly homosexual. This guy's car has so many "Hope and Change" bumper stickers it has become a veritable shrine to Obama. His collection of Evil Black Rifles is epic in proportion. I got to know him a little bit when I did some plumbing work at his house awhile back. I geuss he got tired of being attacked for being gay and decided to never again be a victim. Interestingly, he discovered what many liberals never learn. Shooting is fun. He tells me this fact is what feeds his obsession.....

My wife is perhaps the best example of a reformed gun hating Democrat. When we first met she thought firearms only belonged in the hands of police or military. I asked if she had ever even fired a gun. She said no, but she was willing to try in the interest of being open minded. I took her to the range and within a half hour she was hooked. She began to understand that a 5'3" woman alone in a parking garage gets raped an murdered if she is attacked by three men. She survives unscathed if she is armed. In fact, she just brought it to my attention that it is probably about time to start teaching our daughters to shoot. Oh, and last year, for my birthday she bought me an 870 tactical......

Yes, most liberals are gun grabbers. I think this is due to ignorance and lack of exposure. What I do when I meet one who is rational enough to even discuss the issue of gun ownership in a logical way is to invite them to the range. Show them we are NOT nut jobs. Let them see who the gun culture really is and what we are really like. This is the best way to handle a liberal......

Where the hell are the yellow, spineless, two-faced, fact-ignoring, bleeding heart liberal cowards that voted for Obama and are members of this site? They were around in strength during CIC Douche Bag's pre/post election festivities but they are not too vocal these days. Really surprised by that. Their Messiah and their cause is trying to kill the 2nd and they supported the jerk.

I was going to say "One time I was on a gun forum, and was talking to this guy nynco who said he voted for Dear Leader and then got butthurt when people were angry with him", but you kinda stole my thunder. Oh well.

I work daily with literally DOZENS of women who are souless liberals: drink the Koo-laid, praise the Douche, hate the conservatives, and ignore the facts. They think that the Douche is gonna make it all better. Guns? Haven't found one that understands the 2nd- "why do you need assault weapons for hunting"- is the most common quote. When confronted with facts they either run or stand there with an open mouth. Not surprisingly, the few non-liberal co-workers are the Christians who hunt/have husbands that hunt or are Libertarians who are really cool with the RTKABA.

I work with 100's of them daily. Some get it and some don't.

One recent event, I mentioned that guns were flying off the shelves and ammo was little to be had. She asked why? I said because of Obama. "He has nothing to do with this!" she spouted. I kept countering with facts, and the one fact was that I have the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as we all do. She countered with "a lot of us are still fighting for our Rights" (and I can only guess that she's saying this because she's also African American? I dunno, still trying to figure that one out) but I didn't go much further with any arguments, she left and went home. "you'll just sit here all night and argue" and left. (she was losing)

I do have to say, I've taken two Female, non-gunowner, new shooters to the range this year. One has purchased her own 9mm recently, the other I'm not sure ever would, being very liberal. But it was a good attempt. She didn't hate it and recently told another co-worker about the experience.
