A national survey by pollster Doug Schoen found that 72% of voters support banning high capacity ammunition magazines, or gun clips that hold more than 10 bullets at a time. The survey also found that 59% of gun owners and 47% of NRA members agree with this ban.

Keep in mind that Doug Schoen is a Democrat operative. The fact that he and Pat Caddell have NOT publicly left the Democrat party over the things both of them complain about on Fox News is de facto proof that much of their anger at the Democrat party and its policies is contrived. They both make a ton of money pretending to be "disaffected Democrats".

You want to increase the safety level of residents of CO ? Use better/more reflective paint on the lane markers. You cant see shit in a rain, let alone snow storm.

PROBLEM:
High-capacity magazines were designed to for one thing -- killing large numbers of people quickly. They have no place in our communities and on our streets. Mass shootings in Aurora, Newtown and Tucson have demonstrated all too clearly the need to regulate high capacity ammunition magazines. These weapons allow a gunman to fire a large number of rounds quickly and without having to reload. Americans can legally buy more firepower than the U.S. military gives its service members on the battlefield. The standard basic ammunition load for an American soldier fighting in Iraq was seven magazines with 30 rounds each. The Aurora shooter used a drum with more than three times the rounds of an American soldier.

So 7*30=210 rounds and his drum held three times that? 210*3=630 Imagine how heavy that rifle would be. Thinking they meant the drum holds more than 3 times what a single magazine does, but the wording suggests otherwise. If I had all the firepower I had in the Army I'd have a Black Hawk helicopter and a couple of M-60D machine guns and some hand grenades, not a semi auto M4 clone.

And... Didn't the Aurora shooters hi-cap mag jam? Wouldn't that mean that hi-cap mags are safer?

Remove Colorado statutes that exempt manufacturers, importers and dealers from their responsibility for the damages done by their products.

Are we going to go after our local brewers (Coors included) for DUI related deaths and accidents? These people haven't got the slightest clue as to what problems their new legislation is going to cause. Not a clue.

You're right, fell into the FB trap myself. I read and re-read, nothing regarding that ...but the only way to prove any of that would be some sort of stamp/serialization.

this stinks, stinks very very badly, but the thing I don't understand is how do they possibly think they can ban sale or transfer of ownership? Magazines listed in my NFA trust now? this reeks of stupid. I step across the state line and they get to fly a kite.
