    Honeybadger, your slide gap looks exactly like my old style PM9 how it left the factory. Also the front rails should already be in the slide grooves. If the rails aren't in the grooves as it sits normally, something isn't right.

    The new slide they gave me doesn't perfectly match the OLD frame I have. It is one of the very early VB series... SN: VB5XXX. The metal rails in the frame don't extend all the way to the front of the frame, so they don't catch the groves at the front of the slide. I'm about to post a new thread about how I fixed it. I'll update this thread with a link after I post it.
