Yes, well she tries and thats all that matters. We know though that if anyone ever broke into our house, she would give her life trying to protect us. But most likely, she (the ridgeback) would have completely subdued the intruder before I even get my glasses on and gun/light in hand. She thinks EVERYONE is vicious. Excellent guard dog traits, not so excellent around kids. Trying to break her of that habit as we're planning on kids in the next 2-3yrs.

That's a nice bag of...... kitties btw.
She has a TON of energy. I used to take her to the dog park, where she'd run, non-stop, for 3 hours straight. Then once I was tired of sitting chatting with everyone else, we'd go home and she would want to keep playing and running around. Sorry to hear about the chemo, but good for you for getting it for him instead of just putting him down like a lot of owners would do. I had a springer spaniel growing up that had cancerous tumors (two) the size of softballs in her chest. They operated, removed them and did chemo, she lived another 8yrs (was already 8yrs old). She was an amazing dog.

I would do everything in my power to keep my pets alive. They are family to me and have gotten me through some tough times.

I promise I'm done hijacking this thread. I'll try to post a picture of my tacticat when I get home later this week.

I love my cats too, but fixing a cat most times is like trying to fix a bic lighter.

Tsk. I adore my cats, and would do anything for them, just like people would for their dogs . Cats just have a different way about them.

This is the key difference between cats and dogs: Dogs exist to make you happy. Cats exist to rule over you.

Funny thing is the dark grey one (in the OPs post) is the most dangerous by a long shot, but the wild looking one was scarier to visitors. He would actually hunt in the snow.
