Still go slow when you get out there and flex and test it out even with those new brake lines. I put the 22" JKS lines on my XJ and thoguht I was GTG. I still almost ripped them out the first time I flexed it. I ended up relocating the brake line bracket down and getting another 2" out of them, but ultimately had to run a limiting strap to limit down travel.

    Diesel??

Not only would the Wrangler take the diesel, but with a 420 lb-ft of torque rating in the Grand Cherokee with the same engine, it seems like a no-brainer that one of the most off-road oriented cars on the market would make use of that low-end power.

I don't know about Poll Hill Road but I ran across that at the entrance to Pickle Gultch last Summer.

Pole (not poll, sorry) is outside of Estes. Pretty decent trail.

That would be sweet! I can't believe it's already time for another Wrangler make over. The TJ still seems new to me...

I've been out of town and busy as hell, now sick too. I'll be up for a possible run this weekend.

Exactly. I've got a Dana 44 axle (although with a larger ring gear supposedly) and wonder if it would be possible to pick up a used rear third member from a Rubicon and just swap mine out. I think for air locker prices, a Rubicon e-locker would be even better. I have no idea how much they go for used though. What do you guys think?

To the JK dudes....I was driving my rig today and all of the sudden shit went sideways on me. I had a red lightning bolt on the dash and the engine cut out, sputtered, and was running really rough. I pulled over and restarted it and it didn't do it again. I read some basics online and it looks like it's something surrounding the throttle position computer module. I hate all of these damn computers these days. A bunch of unnecessary nannys. Anyone else ever have that happen? I'm at 13k miles on mine so I will be trying to get over to the stealership so they can have a look at it.

Ok, so wait- when you say it went sideways you mean literally? Like the brakes locked up or something? or it went into limp mode while you were 4wheeling? I been out a few times and been four wheeling then get on highway and it has no get up and go. Turn it off and then fire it up and I am cruising like nothing happened. Figured I threw off some sensors or something and it might have thought it was in an accident or something.

Wow that was fast, thanks. Time to research to see if I can do a swap like I was thinking.
