watched someone parallel park a month back or so. pull back until you hit the car, turn, pull forward, then, pull back until you hit the car, pull forward and say good enough.
not one tap but 2. Mirror? turning your head? nah too much effort.
It's almost like people don't really need a 27 foot long truck to pick up the groceries...
I fully expect one of my cars to end up here. The only time I'm a passenger in my vehicles is when I require a DD, and everytime my other half parks it, I get out and tell her she parks like an asshole.

I had some asshole park so close to my Jeep one day you couldn't have gotten a Barbie doll in through the drivers door. Could barely get my hand between the rear bumpers. Had to crawl over the front seats, which is tough for a fat old man.
There may have been some damage left on his shit, I can't say......

I had that happen to me in the parking lot of an apartment decades ago. This person violated everyones space or car at some point and had a notorious reputation for doing it all the time. This was the guy who parked slanted to take up two spaces so his baby would not get dinged. The complex kept giving him warnings and warnings. One time I had a rolling jack in my storage and I got it out and moved the car over so I could get in my Jeep..............neighbors cheered. One week they left for vacation leaving the car parked slanted and the complex had the vehicle towed. He got back and realized his car was in the impound for a week. You know how much even 10 years ago daily impound fees cost? He never parked that way again.

You can't really count this one. I see a person inside the vehicle. I think it is technically only parking if you exit the vehicle. If you are still in the vehicle it is only "stopped"... not "parked"

No pics but the Leaf Peepers can't park to save their lives. Just for fun, I wanted to park my beater truck within the parking space lines. It would have been 3" from the left and right vehicles. [Roll1]
I won't mention the Escalade that parked on the sidewalk and got out to finish his beer.

I need to start taking pics of my apartment complex. Big stupid "tricked out" trucks parking in compact spots, motorcycles taking up two spaces, ricers over lines (and then bend their mirrors in), etc... ridiculous, it takes an extra two seconds to put your car in reverse and park correctly.
I always park in the back, double parked so people can't park next to me.

One's like this I think can actually be sent in and ticketed over. At least for handicapped etc. Had a crazy batshit lady kept running around our hospital claiming there were no handicapped spots (there were) and harassing others parked in those spots. (People who were handicapped but forgot the sign etc, one time they even had the plates.)
I'll have to remember to do this!

If you've ever been to a box store while pulling a trailer, you know how hard it usually is to find a pull through spot. Depot has recently added about 3 trailer spots at some stores.
I've seen this scenario at several stores.
Now if they park to close and swing their door open and damage my vehicle...all bets are off.

Depot has recently added about 3 trailer spots at some stores.
They made the mistake of putting the trailer spots right up close like the handicapped spots, except there is nothing stopping folks from using em. Putting dedicated trailer spots at the far end of the lot would be more likely to get honored and if you are loading something you are going to pull up anyway (trailer or not).

No real need to have special ones far out. Usually you can find the lot wide open in one corner or another and get 2 spots to pull thru with nothing else around.
The other one is where they use the lumber loading area. A few have it where there is a few diagonal spots. Most still have the pull thru style and people pull all the way up, park and go shop for 30 minutes while the area fills up with people trying to load purchases but are now trapped by the first Dbag.
First world problems I guess.

Wish I could have snapped this sooner but I wasn't thinking about it. These were the only two parking spots left when this guy pulled in so he just took both of them. And left about five feet in front of his truck which left his truck hanging about one small car length into the middle of the parking lot. Sorry about the crappy photo. The camera is good. It's my windshield that's filthy.

Some dickhole in my neighborhood parks his car in front of his house, completely blocking the sidewalk on the street corner. When I'm running, I have to run into the main road to go around it. I want to kick the window out every time.

You've been to my house and see where I have one of my trailers parked. I usually during the week stay hooked up and my truck hangs over the sidewalk but dillholes who use the park next to house will block my driveway and I can't hook up to my trailer if I dont stay hooked up.
It's one of the reason that I do not goto this gas station pictured.
Cashers mess transaction up on premium/regular fuel, long line, and over priced.
I goto Murphy USA (oil) 2 blocks east now.

You live on a cul-de-sac. This car would be the equivalent of parking their rear bumper flush with the gutter on Ward Rd where you turn to go to your house. So when you are walking down the sidewalk, you'd have to walk into Ward Rd to go around the car. There is another guy in the neighborhood how has a trailer that doesn't fit in his driveway and you have to run around it, but there the sidewalk is a good 6 feet from the street, AND it's not right at an intersection so it is less annoying.

Nope, I think mine is only 23', maybe 24'. Crew longbed. Not everyone owns closet sized cars, or works in an office building. Throw some 10-12' pieces of steel in the bed of mine, and Im closer to 28+. But the all city officials keep making the spots smaller. But that's ok, you all can complain about the "big" trucks, and Ill keep getting annoyed every time I follow a lunchbox on wheels into a fuel station, only to have that lunchbox take the only diesel pump, when there are 4 other gas pumps open.

Just the row along the sidewalk. I think it was because the drive lane behind it is so narrow anyway.

I regularly double park my F350. Its a wide dually and I don't trust people to pay attention when opening doors. I generally park towards the outskirts of the lot, or next to the islands if I can though..... to lessen the douchbaggery.

The guy in the CRV always parks like that at the Waffle House I hit for breakfast once in a while. It's one thing to park like a choad way out somewhere, but taking the #1 parking spot like that.

And this goes to show I work with have the parking ability of a woman on a cell phone. For some reason about 90% of the people who park in that spot always block the walkway out of the parking lot. Again, this is a "#1 spot" up front. Many have parked worse where you can barely get by without the zipper on your jacket scratching their paint.

What, State Troopers can't qualify for, and use, Handicapped parking tags? The man could have had an injury or a minor surgery, that prevents him from doing some things and qualified him for a temp mirror tag, yet he could still do most of his job, including driving. I've have temp mirror tags several times, and still worked and did my job. Why couldn't a State Trooper do the same?
But if that's NOT the case here, and he's just using the HC space to park in because he's a Trooper, then he needs a pee-pee slappin'.

Close...driver rear is NeverSummer. Colorado snowboard company. Pass rear is Burton and I can't remember the grenade one but that is a snowboard company too.

I work at a DIA parking lot. I could fill this thread just driving around the lot on any given day. However my favorite customer of all time happened last winter. There was snow on the ground but you could see most of the lines. A guy pulls in driving an Expedition (or equivalent, it has been a year and I have slept since then) and totally straddles a line. He gets out and is talking on the phone before I can say anything or even point it out to him. He looks down sees how far he is from the next line and says, " I parked like an A##hole! Hold on let me fix this." Not sure if it was to me or the guy on the phone. Now whenever me or my daughter miss a parking space by even a little we will tell each other, "I parked like an A##hole. Or You parked like an A##hole."
Got to respect someone that calls himself on BS.

Good point. You are probably spot on with that assumption. I'm from a small town in Iowa, back where people drive by and wave at you with their whole hand. Out here it seems like people only wave with the middle finger. The biggest pet peeve I have is that moron drivers out here will cut off 4 lanes of traffic to make their exit on the highway, rather than just say, "fuck it" and carefully get over, take the next exit and back track a couple of blocks. Of course majority of the time these jack-holes are missing their exit due to being on their cell phone or some other mundane distraction.

I lived right between San Diego and LA for 4 years. I lived in South Carolina, spent many months in Oklahoma, and Ive been to 13 countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Socal drivers create pileups when it starts to rain, seriously. At least CO drivers can drive in the rain.

Heh, some fool in a little 2wd sporty-type car did that right in front of me in heavy, semi-frozen slushy conditions on I-25 once. Tried shooting from the far left lane to take the Arapahoe exit at the last second.
Of course, he immediately lost control and spun out all over three lanes, I just barely missed him as he was spinning. I glanced out my side window and looked straight at his terror-stricken face as he was coming around on his 3rd or 4th rotation. The semi-truck behind me hit him so hard it smashed the whole ass end of his car into the back seat, and took the Kenworth out of commission as well. Real good thing there wasn't any passengers in his back seat, they would have bought it instantly.

Atlanta is a pretty bad place to drive and on top of it if you have to go over the speed limit heading out of the city or you are a traffic hazard but cops are everywhere so its like playing russian roulette with a speeding ticket. Florida is pretty bad too they are either all the way on the throttle or all the way on the brakes with no middle ground.
Ten or so years ago Colorado was not a bad place to drive. People seemed to drive aggressive and with a purpose but it was a lot less chaotic. Also people could drive in the snow and rain much better then they do now.

In this guy's defense, they just don't make parking spots long enough for a truck like this. You either have to hang out the front of the spot into the next space or leave your ass end about four feet into the aisle.
I've also encountered some unbelievable narrow lanes that make it nearly impossible to park anything bigger than a sedan or shituv.
However, this isn't normally an issue at any Home Deport lot. :D

Sadly they feel they are above the law.
I totally understand if there was an emergency going on and he just whipped in there to handle something, however, this car sat there for at least the entire 6 hours I was at the convention center. Back on the east coast people would constantly park their cars right in front of the doors at places like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc. Even if there were plenty of open spaces in the lot they'd still park here. It pisses me off so much that these idiots think they can break the law whenever they want when things that are legal get much more scrutiny. I've noticed this happening more and more here in CO too. Entitled bastards.
