It's the same GAP "Rock" .308 just new shoes.
KRG Whiskey 3 Chassis, Sphur scope mount, S&B glass, Atlas bi-pod, and an AAC SDN6 with the Brakeout muzzle adapter.
I'm pretty sure by next year (or less).. things will again change...[Coffee]

Here is a pic of my home grown rifle that I finished last month. Sadly, I've only gotten to put about 15 rounds thru it (shared the 223 I had left w/ my buddies who were with me, so they could take some shots). I'm hoping that prices will eventually come down and I will be able to really get out there an unload some and get 'er zero'ed in.

Not as awesome as many of the guns shown here, but it's awesome in it's own little way. Mostly because it cost less than $600 for everything except the bag and mag's.
Just finished building my son's "first" AR-15 (he's 21; I know; I know).
It's sort of a mutt of different brand parts, but there's a lot of Magpul stuff on it. HUGE thanks to Mazin for helping get the LPK installed on/in the lower yesterday.
With it, I've got a case for him, 5 Gen3 Magpul 30 rnd mag's, a "grip pod" (2 years ago he told me he wanted one of these on an AR - Thanks to glock21 for this!), and a Blackhawk single-point sling.
I also put a custom engraved dust cover on it (Thanks to Troubleco for getting this engraved... 2 years ago). Inside & out it says "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" and the center of the outside says "Lone Wolf 18" which is his userid here on the forums (not that he everigns on here, but that might change now).
I've still got to get some good lube (going with FrogLube) on it to ensure it moves smoothly.
It will be a gift to him for his EMT Certification graduation.

not a black gun anymore. I got bored one day and wanted to see what I could do with a couple cans of spray paint. so I painted the springfield first and liked it so much I went ahead a paint the girlfriend and made them a pair. not bad for 10 bucks and some painters tape if you ask me.

Yes. Couldn't recommend the upper enough. Was happy with the fit and finish of the mega lower to the upper.
Still working on my 5th shot placement, but the 1st 4 get the job done.

Damn. It says it won't work with any lower other than the Mega. If I'm near you or you're up this way do you feel like letting me see if the upper half will match up with my POF lower half? If it doesn't I may have to look into selling/trading this lower and going with the Mega setup because I really like that upper.

If it was a real Krink it would be. It would also be an under folder and a few other special features that make them nearly $20k these days.

There are a handful of versions of the "Krinkov" and they are made to shoot the 7.62x39 as well.

It's not rocket surgery. My new M92PV will be here tomorrow and I plan to send off paperwork and convert it. Just wish I could find the same thing in a 5.45mm to make it a little closer to what most consider a true Krink. Oh well, I'm still excited to have me a little shorty AK anyway. I considered SBRing a Arsenal I have but with the op-rod system it just wasn't worth the effort because I couldn't get the length that I wanted anyway. This one will be more fun when it's all done.

I had wanted to copy as close to a Krink as I could w/o the happy switch which meant 5.45mm in this package. I ultimately decided on 7.62 instead because the round does better out of that length barrel than a 5.45x39 does so it will be a better shooter and once the surp 5.45 ammo dries up (sooner than later) ammo prices will be back up again so I'm happy with shooting the 7.62 I've had for years from back when it was cheap.

Weight and maneuverability. Having a high likelihood of needing to work in and around houses and civilian vehicles makes a shorter rifle desirable.... but there are limits. These were sent out because someone, somewhere, who didn't bother to talk to guys on the ground, decided that we needed better intermediate barrier penetration in a compact package.
The thing is our 5.56mm X135 (70gr Barnes TSX) goes through intermediate barriers really well out of an SBR. For us, these rifles are/were answers looking for a problem.

My new LMT LM8MWS 16 inch barrel in .308. Added a few things. Want to thank The Belly for all of his advice. Can't wait to shoot this thing. Had to sell a lot of extra gear for this.

I have been wanting one for a while and decided to finally build a Beowulf. I have it just about complete, mainly just need to decide what optic to put on it. I put the upper on a CMMG lower from Ark, added the brake, limbsaver recoil pad to the CTR stock and a Scorpion grip. Curious to see how the recoil handles with all of them together. Midwest Industries rail with YHM flip ups and a custom dustcover. I can't wait to take it out...

Tried one of the new HF detail guns. It was very controllable and the application went on very smooth. Material usage was a lot less than I expected. I started with 34cc's of material and when done thought I was going to be out. Not the case. Still had 12-15 cc's left.
Biggest issue was prep. This was a new upper and although I pulled almost everything I did not pull the FSB. I must have baked and wiped it 6 times before it was dry enough to spray.

It sure is fun soothing a pistol suppressed, my friend didn't have taller sights so I just pointed and shot. It was a wet type suppressor, is it differnt from one that you can't add water/oil/ect.

You don't need tall sights. Your front sight post should still be visible in relation to your target kind of like shooting a red dot with both eyes open. It's not as intuitive or ideal but doable.
