Then why shouldn't you wear one when purchasing a firearm?

A persons choice of clothing has nothing to do with the transaction.

Let's just say that, those who are proud enough to wear the image of an illegal substance on their shirt, are also more prone to talk about their "habits."

Show up with one in our shop and I will question you about it. If you use or have a medical MJ card, you don't get a firearm.

You seem to be forgetting that a person CANNOT be a habitual user of marijuana and possess a fire arm, nor be under the influence. We've thrown people out before for smelling like pot. It's against the law for them to just be in the store.

Having a card is NOT proof of use.

    1) It doesn't matter.
    2) It depends how many lawyers are involved.

ATF investigator told me that anyone with a MJ card should not/not be sold a firearm.

I don't have to prove you use, I just have to prove you have a card. Having one is enough to get you denied. That's the law here and we don't feel like having ATF slam this place with 15 guys armed with fully automatic weapons, throwing flashbangs, screaming at the customers to "GET THE FUCK ON THE GROUND!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", be prone out, handcuffed, thrown in a van, questioned, and then told to have a nice day, "BTW, your carpet was burned and your front door is broken. See ya' later."
