I don't view pot any differently than any other substance that produces a desired un-natural effect on one's body. Caffeine, alcohol, heroin, ibuprofen, cocaine, benedryl... they're all just different degrees. I say legalize it all and let Darwin sort them out. The gene pool is in bad need of refreshing.

There is another "or" in there before controlled substance. A lawyer or over zealous prosecutor could have a field day over the way this is worded.

The wording is very clear (which is way it hasn't been challenged). It reads "or any other controlled substance."

    Couldn't agree more with this.

I am not among that "majority".

    This one gets old...

Both alcohol and marijuana impair your reflexes, judgement, coordination etc. They both should not be consumed while driving, shooting, making important life decisions etc. And too much of either is a problem, when it impinges on someone else's life.

The old saw about "well... alcohol's legal, and pot ain't" is hypocritical. Many people on this forum specifically state how little regard they have for some of the new legislation passed re: gun control, and how they intend to ignore it in their own quiet way. I say more power to them! But you can't pick and choose which laws you feel are worth adhering to, and then use the same legislative system to condemn somebody else doing the same damn thing!!

I disagreed with A-64, because I was afraid it would turn Colorado into a pot mecca for idiots, like Amsterdam. Not because I saw anything wrong with somebody choosing to smoke weed.

Holy shit! Get the hell over it. There was a vote. An OVERWHELMING majority of Colodoans, in every county, voted to legalize marijuana. Stop whining like a bunch of little girls. If you don't like pot, move, or keep it to yourself.

    You lost.

The winning party had to listen to your uneducated hatred of a plant for no other reason than your daddy told you it was bad. Just like I tell my dog "leave it!"

    and FUCK THE FEDS.

Also, I would love to see a shop owner NOT take my $1,000 because of my attire. You would just smile a big ole grin, take my greenbacks, and wish me a heartfelt good day. So don't pretend your butt hurt little feelings about losing a vote will trump being a capitalist.

Erudite, succinct, and persuasive. I think I'll take your signature's advice and sign off now.

And then there are those of us who do not consume alcohol, marijuana, etc. and think wearing any type of clothing with those types of logos or designs is not only tacky but just plain ridiculous.

But that's just my opinion, not my campaign speech. Do what you want, I think it's all silly and a waste of time.

Now, lets get back to the real enemy.

ROVING PACKS OF WILD DOGS! They are taking over our streets, and pooping on our lawns!
Whenever my wife asks me why I never wear pants around the house I simply remind her:

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.” - Winston Churchill

    The truth wears NO pants!
