I'm starting tomorrow. I'm sitting at 270-280 on a daily basis.

Going to start this up tomorrow with some store bought stuff until I can buy a juicer.

Good Luck!! I think out of all the diets, it's the hardest... Guess the last part belonged in the other thread, as well as this sentence.

You don't gain anything from eating it, compared to juicing it. You do however gain more by juicing. You can fit 4 or 5 apples by size into a cup, as equally as one. In the juice form, you body can easily break it down and doesn't have to deal with the fiberous material from eating the actual fruit, so it can use the energy more efficiently to break down the items in your stomach (juice). As long as you are smart with it and supplement a couple items that vegetables can account for like B12, and protein (which I've already discussed), juicing is perfectly healthy for you, even in long stints. It will be the most healthy thing (food wise) anyone can do (as long as you have body fat to supplement your calorie needs).
I'm not going to argue w/ dietary "experts". I'll just say that I've worked with dieticians, personal trainers, and used to compete. Also lost a friend to addiction and obesity who did this same diet under a doctor's care along with many other diets before having surgery. I never said I was against juicing, I believe it's healthy. To say I don't know what I'm talking about is ignorant, but YHARTYO. I understand how the body burns different types of glycogen stores and know what you're getting at with fat burn. When your body cuts straight to fat vice carb sources, it can also cause the body to go into self protection mode (at a certain point which is different for everybody) and store vs burn fats which in turn can cause it to source muscle. All things in moderation is all I was getting at. I wish you the best of luck OP.

Whole Foods has a juice bar. They put about 3 pounds of fresh vegetables in the juicer to make you a pint glass for $5.99.

    12 oz is $4.99, and a giant 24 oz is only $7.99.

Word of caution . . . if they juice some beets you'll start pissing red.

This is a great tip for those on-the-go and I wasn't aware they did that. Thanks!

Why did we need a second thread? I can tell you that both of these threads will end up discussing the exact same topics and it's just going to fragment the conversation. Do we need TWO juicing threads on a gun forum?

Because there's a bunch of bullshit and shit talking in the other one. This isn't a place for that. This is for the ones doing it.

If you're not doing it, GTFO.
