The original reason for Juice fasting, was not for weight loss. It was to heal. It was to give your body the best chance at healing itself. The lack of intake of calories just cuts weight. So, does it work as a great weight loss thing? Ya, without a doubt it does, but it is a way of healing first and foremost. Unless you do this for long enough for your body to "reset" itself, you will gain the weight back fast as your metabolism will not change.

Why don't you have your wife record your results every day for the next week while you close your eyes. Then you can stress out about it less. Stress isn't going to help anything.
