Default Petition to put remove mag ban on the ballot.

The liberal voters could then vote in a much more draconian ban....

    Hi all,

I have just become a petition calculator for this petition and will do my best to answer all your questions.

We have all the petitions printed and are pounding the pavement, but we need help, number, and signatures.

Spqrzilla, the language of the petition is as such so it pertains to the magazine ban and only the ban. If if was more wordy or covered more aspects it could more easily get challenged in court and overturned.

I am one of the south-metro organizers and we need people to help and sign.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually we are niether a democracy or republic.

Democracy: People rule. One man(person), one vote on all issues
Republic: Representative government. People do not nessasarily have any say in who represents them.

We are a democratic republic. We vote for our representatives. One person, one vote on who represents us. If we were a democracy you would be correct and only majority would rule. As you point out, it could run to current "feelings" of public opinion guiding all decisions. If we were a pure republic, an arostocracy could rule such as during Roman times. If you were not part of the land owning gentry, normally with a political background, you did not have a vote.

This is better.... But not a Republic.

Yup. Like Mike Rosen has said time and time again we are:
"a constitutional republic with representative government and well-established democratic institutions"

Yeah, where? I have to actually look for stuff like this being up in the hills, so I need a specific place, time, etc. where I can sign.

The whole deal is Catch - 22. if the Bill fails the gun grabbers say it's a Mandate from the people. While The Gun law suits are still in play.

IF it passes the gun grabbers will seek an injunction to halt it.

They did the same with Amendment 22? which earned CO the moniker The Hate State.

Make no mistake, ANY Favorable gun laws passed, or won in the state court will be challenged by a well oiled, well financed MAIG war machine. Social media is their friend, and they control the MSM.
