tell her to go ask any one person who voted for it. buying her an ipad will get them off much cheaper than if this would have passed.

Of all the things kids don't learn in school these days, I don't think knowing how to work small electronic devises is one that needs more tax dollars. For the money you will save each year, now that 66 failed, just buy her a new iPad and smile.

Bloomberg and bill gates apparently each donated a million toward this thing. Why not donate that money to the schools?
$10 million spent to push the issue...again donate it to the schools.

For the same reason they don't donate extra to the IRS.

Just heard that only $10,000 was spent on the anti effort here...

    Yikes! $10K vs $10,000,000.00

I think Colorado has a chance here in the next few years... I thought it was on its way to California, but there is hope! Between this momentum shift, the recalls, and Obamacare and who knows what they force on us in the next legislative session, We may say a pissed off Colorado return us to our western roots.

Glad 66 was rejected handily. I have to admit, I was thinking the yuppies' "For The Children™" argument would sway more.

(Disappointed in Weld County though. Oh well ><)

Because spending 10mil once to get 1000mil/yr is a good investment even if the odds are low.

GilpinGuy, move up to Longmont. We passed an increase last year so she'd get her ipad here.

It's possible that we can stop the state on the path that it's on, we just have to make sure we're not content and sit back during any election. The fight for Colorado is just that, A FIGHT. We must continue to vote, write legislators, and remove the ones who no longer listen to the people who appointed them. If we don't actively use our liberty it will be taken away while we are sleeping. I am glad that Colorado did show a lot more guts than many thought it had. Would have enjoyed seeing how people would have reacted had all 11 counties voted yes to secede.

I'm guessing they'd laugh, point, and say "u mad, bro?" along with a troll smiley.
