Default First camping trip this year.

Heading out as soon as I get the intake back on this BMW. Supposed to rain a bit tomorrow but ah well. Gonna get some relaxation. No cell, no internet. Woods, dirt, fire, food. Fuck yeah.

Heading back to Wellington Lake that I went to last year. Hopefully not to crowded.

I seriously need to get a camping trip up high on my list. I used to go tent camping as a kid all the time, and I have been here since 2005.

Maybe I will start getting as list of equipment together and start buying this year for next year.

I still need to find a good place to test out my Get Home Bag. where I can park without fear of towing and walk in a ways.

I'm jealous! I want to get a bit more camping in this year. I only went a couple times last summer. Have fun!

Camping is a major goal this year. Getting a back country rig set up (you will never guess but an X5 sucks on true off road...) and have most of the gear I need for it. Plan to camp in places hard to get to all summer long. Leave friday night and camp for the weekend and come back and curse my chores on Monday.

Wow, last I heard Wellington lake had closed to the public, but that was a few years ago. When did it open back up?

I did 5 days of tent camping last week. It was great, but not long enough.

Selling the scout, it was always a flip vehicle. Getting a Land Cruiser.

ETA: It is ready to sell, still needs some work but I am done with it.

I have done four tires. Shocks all four corners. Got the carb working ok. Plugs and wires. Front wheel bearings. Rear wheel cylinders, rear brakes. Clean and adjust all around. Runs pretty well.

No idea. I was there last year right at the end of the season.
